Mr. Chea Langda, the Chief Executive Officer of BookMeBus, says that “BookMeBus will make it easier than ever for our un-banked customers to book their bus tickets at TrueMoney’s network of agents across the Kingdom of Cambodia.” He adds that “We’ll be able to integrate a robust system of money transfer services into BookMeBus platform.”

TrueMoney has the network of 5000 agents throughout Cambodia. “With BookMeBus as our partner, we’re offering a more convenient way to our growing customers to book bus tickets,” says Mr. Kong Mean, the managing director of TrueMoney.

Started is an online service for anyone to book a bus ticket. BookMeBus has now grown into one of Cambodia’s promising startups. BookMeBus has continued to develop its platform to provide a world-class experience for foreign travelers and locals, even those without bank accounts or Visa cards. In 2016, BookMeBus was awarded the Cambodian ICT Awards 2016. The Cambodian startup has been featured in the local and international media outlets, including the CNN, Lonely Planet, Forbes, Tech In Asia, and The Phnom Penh Post.

TrueMoney is a subsidiary of the CP group, which is an international firm with locations in more than 100 countries worldwide. TrueMoney cooperated with Phillip Bank and received its license to operate money transfer services such as bill payments, money withdrawals, mobile phone top-ups and other services in the Kingdom from the National Bank of Cambodia. TrueMoney, currently, has more than 5,000 agents across the country, and there are branch offices in six countries.
