The Best WordPress Plugins in 2018

This is a list of top best WordPress plugins we love using to build websites for our clients. WordPress is much more powerful when integrating with the right plugins. At KokiTree, before we decide to use a plugin, we spend some time to understand the functionalities of the plugins and we test them. The best WordPress plugins allow developers and designers to achieve our web design and development objectives. In addition to this, we also want to make sure they’re just simple and good enough for the users.

Best WordPress Plugins for Most Websites in 2018

1. Another Events Calendar

For a community website like MLIKE, this event calendar plugin is one of the best choices.

2. Contact Form 7

All of the WordPress websites we build, we use this Contact Form 7 plugin for the Contact Page. It’s simple. It works. Another good contact form plugin we also like and use is HappyForms, which is quite intuitive.

3. Easy Footnotes

If you’re looking for an easy to insert footnotes in blog post, you may consider this Easy Footnotes plugin.

4. LessButtons

It’s one of the best social share plugins to have on most websites. We use this LessButtons plugin for most, if not all, of our WordPress websites we develop. The simple sharing buttons are very nice.

5. Yoast SEO

A great website without quality content and SEO isn’t a website. Every WordPress website we design, we use this Yoast SEO plugin for one single purpose, to optimize the websites for search engines. This plugin is powerful yet easy to use for most users.

6. Use Google Libraries

A lightweight plugin to help off-load your web server, this Use Google Libraries plugin makes use of Google’s AJAX Library API instead. Good performance benefits that most people need.

7. Optimize Database after Deleting Revisions

If you’ve got a WordPress website (especially a niche review site like Sweet Memory Studio) that requires continuous updates over time, chance is that each post has many revisions. For example, before optimizing, this website’s database is of 19.079 MB. After running this plugin, the size is just 4.095 MB. You save 14.984 MB. That’s a lot. Like it’s named after, the Optimize Database After Deleting Revisions plugin for WordPress is an easy to use database cleaner and optimizer.

8. Table of Contents Plus

This plugin makes it easy to create a list of internal links within a post or page. The Table of Contents Plus plugin by Michael Tran can also produce output a sitemap listing all pages and categories.

9. Post Grid

If you need a last-minute solution to how the latest posts should look better than a list view, the Post Grid plugin does it magically in a few clicks. It solves the problem as it’s named after.

10. WP Clone by WP Academy

What’s the easiest and fastest way to migrate a WordPress website or blog from one host to another? Undoubtedly, the WP Clone plugin is simply the best solution for this. We’ve used this plugin regularly. 99% of the times, it works very well. For huge WordPress site, we don’t recommend you using this WP Clone.

BookMeBus CEO speech: partnership with TrueMoney

This is a speech we wrote for BookMeBus CEO’s Chea Langda.

Good afternoon, ladies and gentlemen! Welcome to this partnership launch event at Phnom Penh Era Hotel. I’m very very excited to have you all here. Welcome!

I’m not going to give a long talk here, although I want to share with you BookMeBus’s long term vision and ambition.

BookMeBus is in the business of helping people to book their bus tickets. All the buses have their bus stops. For BookMeBus, we don’t have a stop. This afternooon, I want to emphasize that everyone at BookMeBus works really hard to continue providing our customers the world-class experience of booking tickets online. We strive. We don’t stop. Or we have no designated place to stop. Why? Since we first launched our online service in 2015, we aspire to live up to our moto (or slogan): where every corner is bookable.

How are we going to achieve this? Of course, by partnering with TrueMoney
At BookMeBus, we truly believe in partnership. That’s why we’re here today with our perfect partner, TrueMoney. The reach and nationwide coverage of TrueMoney, through its fast growing network of agents, is the WIN-WIN strategies for everyone: TrueMoney, BookMeBus, bus passengers (Cambodians and foreign travelers), and our lifetime partners, the bus operators.

The fast pace of how TrueMoney grows its financial payments services in East Asia, and in particular Cambodia, will be more than just a partner for BookMeBus.

With TrueMoney as a strategic partner, starting today, BookMeBus will make it easier than ever for our un-banked customers to book their bus tickets at TrueMoney’s network of agents across the Kingdom of Cambodia. We’ll be able to integrate a robust system of payment services into BookMeBus platform. Our team at BookMeBus, including my co-founder and Chief Technology Officer Channa Ly, are excited about solving this challenging payment method through our work with TrueMoney and their team. And it’s going to be a Cambodia-wide scale. Present and future TrueMoney customers can hop on a bus ride quite easily.

This will prepare us for two importants things. One, we’ll soon be able to allow our customers to book more than just bus tickets. We’re going to cover all transportation means in Cambodia (shared taxi, train, ferry, and air tickets). And we’re going to take on the region.

Together with TrueMoney, we don’t stop, but we keep working hard and smart toward our true vision, “where every corner is bookable”.

BookMeBus and TrueMoney partner to offer nation-wide bus ticketing

BookMeBus and TrueMoney announces their partnership to make it easier to book transportation tickets. The official partnership launch event will be held on September 8, 2017 (2:00-4:00 PM), at Phnom Penh Era Hotel.

Mr. Chea Langda, the Chief Executive Officer of BookMeBus, says that “BookMeBus will make it easier than ever for our un-banked customers to book their bus tickets at TrueMoney’s network of agents across the Kingdom of Cambodia.” He adds that “We’ll be able to integrate a robust system of money transfer services into BookMeBus platform.”

TrueMoney has the network of 5000 agents throughout Cambodia. “With BookMeBus as our partner, we’re offering a more convenient way to our growing customers to book bus tickets,” says Mr. Kong Mean, the managing director of TrueMoney.

BookMeBus
Started is an online service for anyone to book a bus ticket. BookMeBus has now grown into one of Cambodia’s promising startups. BookMeBus has continued to develop its platform to provide a world-class experience for foreign travelers and locals, even those without bank accounts or Visa cards. In 2016, BookMeBus was awarded the Cambodian ICT Awards 2016. The Cambodian startup has been featured in the local and international media outlets, including the CNN, Lonely Planet, Forbes, Tech In Asia, and The Phnom Penh Post.

TrueMoney
TrueMoney is a subsidiary of the CP group, which is an international firm with locations in more than 100 countries worldwide. TrueMoney cooperated with Phillip Bank and received its license to operate money transfer services such as bill payments, money withdrawals, mobile phone top-ups and other services in the Kingdom from the National Bank of Cambodia. TrueMoney, currently, has more than 5,000 agents across the country, and there are branch offices in six countries.
